Goals at the Gym

By Nikki Wurnitsch

Why do I not see major results ? I am working out. Working out is so important for so many reasons: longevity, happiness and mobility. If you’re hitting the gym on a consistent basis – you’re already winning

Keep it up !

If you have a specific goal that includes gaining or losing weight, eating right for your particular goal is critical in reaching those goals.

You have to eat for how you train. If you want to gain muscle you have to give your body the nutrients to rebuild with. Proper macronutrient intake is mandatory when working to increase muscle mass, particularly protein. Some people will eat their weight in grams of protein to make gains.

For those looking to lose weight or tone up, a modification in caloric intake and food quality is necessary. Try taking inventory of your current calorie intake habits, track them and consider what might be holding you back from your weight loss goals. Could it be excessive sugar, alcohol or unhealthy fats.
