By consulting a certified TPI trainer, you can create a program to affect the greatest change in your golf game with a targeted exercise program. Because the TPI screen thoroughly examines so many aspects of movement and how it relates to the golf swing, there may be problem areas identified which you haven’t considered beforehand. And you may be able to treat these issues before they become a problem down the line. At the end of your session you can expect a personalized program that you can access via the TPI app or website. Please contact Mind Body PT for more information.
What Is a Performance Screen?
The TPI Screen examines human movement and how your movement restrictions are affecting your golf swing . It focuses on the movement, strength, and flexibility of the human body in relation to striking a golf ball. This is critical, as a golf swing is a dynamic and engaging movement, stability and body posture in motion which doesn’t always come natural to human beings.
The golf swing, according to some experts is “the pinnacle of human movement.” Some may disagree, but few can say that swinging a club for the first time was an easy endeavor.
By focusing on the mechanics of a proper golf swing and how an individual’s current movement patterns impacts their swing, specific areas of improvement can be targeted to make the most impact for each individual player.
Then, by consulting a certified TPI trainer, you can create a program to affect the greatest change with targeted, specific exercises. Because the TPI screen thoroughly examines so many aspects of human movement and how it relates to the golf swing, there may be problem areas identified which were not even considered beforehand.
