From Vinyasa to the Dance Floor: Julee Takes on Dancing with the Tahoe Stars

Julee Takes on Dancing with the Tahoe Stars

Julee is used to flowing through Vinyasa and slowing things down for a good Slow Flow class. The dance floor? That’s a different story.

This October, Tahoe Club 100 yoga instructor Julee Delacour-Killebrew is stepping well outside her usual movement practice to take the stage at Dancing with the Tahoe Stars, Tahoe Arts Project’s annual fundraiser supporting performing arts education in the Tahoe community.

Julee is the Star. Her partner, Angie Zajic, is the professional dancer bringing the choreography, hip-hop skills and plenty of energy to the partnership.

Together, they’re getting ready to put on a show — and they need a little help from their Tahoe Club 100 community.

Julee + Angie: Yoga Meets Dance
Julee spends much of her time helping others connect with movement through yoga. This time, she’s the one learning something new.

Her professional partner, Angie Zajic, is a dancer, choreographer, artist and performer who brings a very different skill set to the duo. According to Julee, Angie is ready to put the FUN in FUNdraiser — and we have a feeling she’s going to keep Julee moving.

The pair will perform as part of the 13th annual Dancing with the Tahoe Stars on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Bally’s Lake Tahoe. Ten local “Stars” have teamed up with professional dancers for this year’s Heroes & Villains-themed event.

And while there will be plenty of competition, costumes, choreography and probably a few nerves along the way, there’s a bigger reason everyone is showing up.

Your Ticket Helps Bring the Arts to Local Kids

Dancing with the Tahoe Stars is a fundraiser for Tahoe Arts Project (TAP), a local nonprofit with a mission to provide cultural enrichment through the arts and education, with a particular focus on youth.

Since 1987, TAP has brought professional performing artists and arts experiences to schools and the Tahoe community. Its Artists-in-Schools programs currently reach more than 5,000 TK–12th-grade students across eight schools in El Dorado, Douglas and Alpine counties.

That means this isn’t simply a night of dancing for a good cause.
Your ticket helps support opportunities for Tahoe-area students to experience professional music, dance, theater and other performing arts — experiences that may not otherwise be available through their schools.

TAP’s history includes bringing performers from a wide range of genres and cultures to local students, including theater, dance, music, storytelling and more. That’s something worth dancing for.

Come Cheer for Julee

So, Tahoe — we’re asking you to show up for Julee. Bring your friends. Bring your date. Make a night of it. Cheer loudly. And when Julee and Angie hit the stage, make sure they know the Club 100 crew is in the room.

Tickets are available now, and when you purchase your ticket, be sure to select Angie Zajic and Julee Delacour-Killebrew as the couple you’re supporting.
